Classroom Music Teacher
Our Lady of Sion College is dedicated to providing our students with excellence in Music and Performing Arts education. To this end, we are seeking to employ an inspiring classroom music teacher (FTE 1.0 – full time, brass and/or woodwind specialist preferred) for a Term 1, 2026 leave replacement position commencing on 27 January 2026 and concluding 17 April 2026.

Upper Strings Violin and Viola Instructor
We are seeking to employ an inspiring and experienced teacher of Violin/Viola for approximately one day per week, (Thursdays preferred) to teach individual and small group lessons at secondary school level.
This is a casual position commencing in Term 1, 2026 and working during the school term only.
Working within the Our Lady of Sion Music Department, the Violin/Viola Instructor will be part of a team of instrumental specialists, providing instruction across a broad range of styles. The successful candidate will build the enrolments of players, enhance the opportunities for upper string students to take part in the activities of the Music Department and work in conjunction with the Head of Music in a team of instrumental instructors.
Candidates must be familiar with VCE and AMEB syllabus requirements and must be either VIT registered or have a current Working with Children’s card.
